APC Endorses President Tinubu for 2027 Re-election

On May 22, 2025, Nigeria's ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) officially endorsed President Bola Tinubu to seek re-election in the 2027 presidential race.  The APC praised Tinubu’s economic reforms, including the elimination of fuel subsidies and currency liberalization, claiming they revitalized Nigeria’s economy.  However, these reforms have also triggered a severe cost-of-living crisis, drawing domestic criticism.
